thank you for the comprehensive report on the recent Forrest employee layoffs. as a strong believer in the fairness of the American way, I expect that the Forrest management will receive a detailed explanation of how the number 11 was selected. A sound budget is important and just as important is the knowledge of how these reductions are being calculated. It is our duty to stay informed through our local state and federal elected representatives. May the laid off individuals find comparable employment quickly.

I hope you are correct in that a

I hope you are correct and that a detailed and ^honest explanation of why the 11 people were laid off/fired/RIF (and 11 is a huge number of the workforce) will be explained- not next week -not next month -not next year. We are heading into fire season! And as of this date, they were fired/laid off/RIF without explanation as were thousands of other people have across the United States of America. USAID…

Yes, I understand a budget-but to those 11 people-I have great respect -they are the ones that protect all of us, and put their lives on the line.

So as I wrote earlier- all of this needs to be explained by the government-as I personally find this a shameful use of random authority.

To the 11 people that were affected-I know it will be hard to find another equivalent job. My heart is with you-thank you for all that you do.

Guess we can really thank all those who voted the dictator into office.

Thank you for such thoughtful reporting. Rash and random actions have consequences. The new administration is doing exactly what it said it would do. I feel terribly bad for the people fired; we need their important services-they are understaffed as it ! I hope cooler, more thoughtful heads will prevail.
