Three Follow-ups
Samantha Odom's completed Welcome Cloudcroft artwork, more Allsup's pictures, and a Ski Cloudcroft snow correction

You may remember our recent article ‘Painting the Village: Artist Samantha Odom.’ Good news: she’s finished her first mural for the Village (see above) and has more to come. We’ll let you know about her next artwork projects for the Village soon.
The Cloudcroft Allsup’s has reopened—with a larger building, parking, and more gas pumps.
Their new offerings include expanded frozen, deli, and dairy sections with almond milk, fresh pork chops, ribeyes, and other cuts of meat. Another update: an alcohol license for a massive beer fridge (as well as liquor and wine options.)
Luckily, some things have stayed the same: the fried Beef & Bean burrito is still on the menu. Best of all—Lisa Adams and Steve Carpenter are still there to offer a smile and warm conversation.

Correcting an error: our recent snow report for Ski Cloudcroft mistakenly cited data from Ski Apache. (Thanks, reader.) The news for Ski Cloudcroft is still good, boasting a 30” snowpack, which is 103% of normal. The surface terrain was packed powder and had a Powder Score of 83%. There is plenty of nice snow for fun runs.
