Following the resignation of former Trustee Tabitha Foster, a fourth VoC Trustee seat is now open for mayoral nomination and council appointment by majority vote of the remaining three trustees.
Mayor Tim King told the Reader he’ll be updating the village website's GIS dashboard application, and it should be available shortly. Interested applicants can contact the Village Office for more information or email the mayor at ccvillagemayor@cloudcroftvillage.com.
With this appointment, all four Trustee positions on the village council after the November election will be seated without having faced a competitive election.
This year, it’s all about the mayor— the only council race where voters have a voice.
